The web never ceases to amaze me with the diversity of its offerings....

Now, exactly where else can you get your very own Mr. Picassohead

Today my thoughts are extraterrestrial. How small one feels when one thinks of the vastness of space. It makes you wonder about humanity. And how projects like this, in a small way, brings humanity together for a single purpose, and this time in the name of science.

Two Dials, One Sun is something that every inner geek can get his mouse cord around.

So, come on! Join in the human equation, set up your webcam, decorate your dial and be one with the cosmos!

Park your car on the wild side

Last evening, one of my neighbors left a "friendly note" on the car of a friend of mine who happened to park in front of their house, which resides on a public street. They asked that the friend not to park there, because they like to "park there when they get home".

Does this bother you? I mean, we're all paying taxes for our roads and streets and just because you happen to own a house on a public street, does not give you rights to who uses the street.

So I'm just a little peeved that someone would do this.

There. I've said it.

I feel better.
